Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent cases
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with night shift nursing team
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Tennessee medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Availability for rotating night shifts (7pm-7am)
