Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.).
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a clean environment.
- Assist providers during patient exams and procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as authorized.
- Manage patient flow and check-in processes efficiently.
- Document patient information accurately into Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA) or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 7 PM - 7 AM).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients (if applicable).
