Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake and vital sign measurements.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment according to strict infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records, including updating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and handling insurance verifications.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians and under supervision.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification preferred.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with EHR systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, night shift environment.
