Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and perform vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Handle patient intake and discharge documentation
- Coordinate with nursing staff for seamless care transitions
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NYS Medical Assistant license required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
