Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, accurate vitals, and comprehensive medical histories.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Manage and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) with strict confidentiality.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections under physician supervision.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members during night operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical or medical office experience.
- Experience working the night shift preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
