Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transferring them safely between beds and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and intake data accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
