Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Obtain vital signs, medical history, and perform EKGs and phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Assist with lab specimen processing and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring a comfortable environment.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and safety protocols strictly.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications (if applicable to specialty).
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic health records.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of the night shift team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
