Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories accurately.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Draw blood and process laboratory specimens for testing.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and verify insurance information.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications and aftercare.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates encouraged.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) as required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
