Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory
- Assist providers with procedures, documentation, and patient education
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Triage patient calls and coordinate care between departments
- Administer immunizations and perform point-of-care testing
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) and CA state license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
