Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications using provided automated equipment
- Manage digital inventory systems and pharmaceutical stock rotations
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and sterile preparations
- Process insurance claims and maintain electronic health records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with DEA and pharmacy board regulations
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy tech experience with equipment operation
- Proficiency in dispensing software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and medication safety awareness
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Background check and drug screening required
