Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vital signs, measurements, and screenings to monitor health status.
- Prepare patients for examinations and clinical procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment.
- Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, treatments, and minor medical procedures.
- Perform venipuncture and basic phlebotomy duties following strict safety and compliance protocols.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and timeliness.
- Manage exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and restock supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service and patient education during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably with night shift experience.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and current immunizations required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during the night shift.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate patient-centric attitude.
