Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and blood pressure.
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with gowns, drapes, and positioning.
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections or vaccines as directed by providers.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during clinical procedures.
- Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Update and file patient medical records and charts accurately and securely.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service during night hours.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Previous experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable to role).
- Strong communication skills with patients and medical staff.
