Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage patient flow and appointment scheduling efficiently
- Update and maintain electronic health records accurately
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
- Coordinate with insurance companies for billing documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior medical experience required
- CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
