Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a professional and welcoming demeanor, managing the front desk reception as needed.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and weight.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws (phlebotomy) and urine analysis, following strict safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide patient education on medications, diets, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not mandatory for new hires (we can assist with training).
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting patients or equipment.
- Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to learn new medical procedures and follow strict healthcare regulations.
