Responsibilities
- Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly, verify demographic information, and update medical records in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Clinical Support: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Lab Assistance: Collect non-invasive specimens and perform basic point-of-care testing (e.g., urine dipsticks).
- Administrative Duties: Schedule patient appointments, handle insurance verification, and manage front desk inquiries professionally.
- Communication: Relay clear and concise information between patients and clinical staff to ensure seamless care.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and organized according to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide full training for qualified candidates.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs. Must be able to perform basic life support (BLS) techniques.
- Professionalism: Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
- Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality is preferred.
