Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and professional individual to assist our physicians and nurses in delivering top-tier patient care. You will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, ensuring their visit is smooth, comfortable, and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and check them in upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.).
- Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging instruments.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and procedures as directed.
- Perform basic laboratory duties, including phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous medical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
