Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify demographics to ensure accurate medical records.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, measurements, and vitals.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect samples as required.
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Medical Assistant Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and electronic health record (EHR) experience is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
- A compassionate attitude and willingness to learn new clinical procedures.
