Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, managing check-in and check-out procedures with efficiency.
- Prepare examination rooms by arranging instruments, setting up exam tables, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Assist providers during patient visits by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for procedures.
- Perform basic clinical duties including blood draws, urine analysis, and specimen collection under direct supervision.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing medical records, updating Electronic Health Records (EHR), and scheduling appointments.
- Provide patient education on medications, post-procedure care, and general wellness tips.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital confidentiality policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid work authorization.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic demeanor are essential.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred, but not required (training provided).
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient mobility.
