Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments with a professional demeanor.
- Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and accurately record patient medical history.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting providers and ensuring privacy and comfort.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, phlebotomy, and administer vaccinations as directed by physicians.
- Manage front office operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary examination room environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Enthusiastic attitude and a strong desire to learn the healthcare field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when assisting patients.
