Responsibilities
- Provide virtual patient intake, triage, and telehealth support remotely
- Assist in-clinic patient examinations, vital sign monitoring, and specimen collection
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and administrative documentation
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians for treatment plan implementation
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all digital and physical interactions
- Support infection control protocols across care settings
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong telehealth platform knowledge (Zoom, Doxy.me, etc.)
- BLS certification and valid Texas state license
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
