Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments, handle insurance verification, and process lab orders
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in outpatient or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Pennsylvania state license (if required)
