Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals and accurate medical history collection.
- Assist physicians and nurses with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer injections and perform basic lab tests as directed.
- Manage patient intake, insurance verification, and electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide compassionate customer service to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Current CMA or RMA certification or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients up to 50 lbs if applicable.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Miami area.
