Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation with precision
- Coordinate patient flow and prepare examination rooms efficiently
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Texas Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
