Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests, including EKGs and phlebotomy.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during clinical procedures.
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Provide exceptional front desk support, including scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed physicians.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
