Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including medical history collection and vital signs measurement.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and minor medical interventions.
- Maintain and update accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and medical documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure strict infection control protocols.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and prescription refills with pharmacies and specialists.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of clinical or administrative experience in a medical setting.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth).
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
