Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and initial screenings in a remote or clinic setting.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain and update accurate electronic health records (EHR) and medical charts.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and communicate test results clearly.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification required.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or administrative setting.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Strong computer skills and ability to work remotely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for any on-site requirements.
