Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Provide health education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
