Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with attire and positioning, and by recording vital signs.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient flow and ensure the medical office is organized and clean.
- Update and file patient medical records and history forms accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Assist physicians during examinations and clinical procedures.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification (RMA/NHA).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
