Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Document patient records accurately and timely using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
