Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests (point-of-care)
- Administer injections and medications per provider protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam room inventory
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Washington State Medical Assistant certification
- Experience with phlebotomy and wound care preferred
