Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations following protocol
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHRs) and patient charts
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- WA state medical assistant authorization
- Background check and drug screen clearance
