Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vitals.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Greet patients warmly and manage the reception area efficiently.
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and examinations.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred; however, we offer on-the-job training for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
