Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures
- Administer medications and perform vital sign assessments
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation and data management
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain efficient clinical workflows
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory procedures
- Inventory management for medical supplies and equipment
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Active CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
