Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and update electronic health records
- Perform vital sign measurements and basic lab testing
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently
- Ensure sterile maintenance of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical documentation standards
- Spanish bilingualism highly desirable
