Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during diagnostic procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Administer injections and medications per provider protocols
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam room inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up communications
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in urgent care or primary care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical protocols
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Florida state license in good standing
