Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Prepare and maintain medical records with HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and immunizations per protocols
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Coordinate with insurance providers for billing
- Maintain clean and sterile exam environments
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, NextGen)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Texas state license in good standing
