Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in procedures efficiently to ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, EKGs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Perform basic lab duties including phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized medical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or AMT) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced clinic setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
