Responsibilities

  • Patient Intake: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical history.
  • Assist Providers: Act as a scribe and support physician/nurse practitioners during exams, procedures, and minor surgeries.
  • Phlebotomy & Lab Work: Perform blood draws, urine collections, and EKGs accurately and efficiently in our on-site lab.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage electronic health records (EHR), schedule appointments, and handle incoming calls with professionalism.
  • Medication Management: Prepare medications for administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), or NCMA certification required.
  • Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
