Responsibilities
- Prepare patients: Greet patients, verify demographics, and prepare them for examinations.
- Clinical Support: Assist physicians during exams, take vital signs, and perform basic lab tests.
- Administrative Duties: Manage appointment schedules, update electronic health records (EHR), and handle insurance verifications.
- Patient Care: Administer medications and injections as directed, and provide patient education.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or NCMA certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma/certificate preferred.
- License: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to Boston, MA.
