Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight monitoring.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed personnel.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens (phlebotomy).
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle front desk reception duties when needed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong computer literacy and EHR experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid Kansas driver's license and clean driving record.
