Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Current MA certification or graduation from accredited program
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred (new grads encouraged)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech a plus)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish fluency highly desirable
