Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect lab specimens
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communication with empathy
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and medical terminology
- Ohio state CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
