Responsibilities
- Perform routine administrative and clinical duties to support physicians and nursing staff.
- Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist with minor medical procedures and administer injections/medications as directed.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and laboratory tests.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and medications.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting.
- Current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
