Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Accurately document patient histories, vitals, and treatment plans in EHR systems
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab procedures with precision
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical instruments
- Coordinate patient education materials and post-visit follow-up
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and clinic safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred
