Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with clinical procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform EKGs under provider supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and inventory management
- Perform vital sign assessments and point-of-care testing
- Assist in emergency response protocols during weekend coverage
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong communication skills in diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
