Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and response to therapy, making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and timely.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to support recovery.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (new graduates with relevant certifications considered).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
