Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and basic laboratory tasks.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient charts.
- Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Handle administrative duties such as billing verification and insurance inquiries.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Epic or Cerner EHR systems is a plus.
