Responsibilities
- Compassionate Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments according to strict physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in patient conditions immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and timely electronic health records (EHR) for every patient encounter.
- Collaborative Care: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations to ensure patient safety.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma (OK).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong externship experience will be considered.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Technology: Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
