In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care while working in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, intake screenings, and history reviews.
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and patient referrals.
- Collaborate with the nursing and front desk teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ year of clinical experience preferred, but new grads welcome.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and holidays.
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation.
