Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephonic virtual health assessments for Kansas City patients
- Provide evidence-based clinical recommendations for acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex case management
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in HIPAA-compliant systems
- Delicate patient education on self-care and preventive measures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
- Respond to after-hours urgent calls on rotating schedule
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with relevant experience considered)
- BSN or higher preferred (ADN with 5+ years experience considered)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- Strong problem-solving skills in remote care environments
